A bright Wednesday morning

The birds chirping, the animals playing

Came a bunch of students in a van

To an Old Age Home for their Outreach program.

The residents of the Home

Looked forward to this day

That one time of the year

When they were happy and gay.

The kids presented a show

With songs and dances people did not know

But they were clapped and they blushed

The people appreciated because they felt loved.

Then an old uncle came up

To tell the story of his life-

How he used to be strong but humble

And lived with his kids and wife.
